day 3 : have daphne send postcards to kids with cancer

this is something i have been meaning to do for a really long time!
a while back, i printed a ton of copies of this photo of daphne.

i cut some card stock into 4x6 pieces & glued it to the back of the photos.
i drew some lines to create the postcard look and *poof* homemade postcards.

i went to this website where you can meet the kids & learn a bit about them. [their age, their interests & their stories]. daphne & i then picked out 7 kids [all on the younger side ; all were interested in animals // dogs] & wrote to them.
i decided to write from daphnes perspective ; who doesnt love a dog that can hold a pen?! ;)

this whole project took about an hour, but we will definitely do it a few more times over the course of this year.

blake & i have both worked with kids our entire adult lives ; so kids hold a special place in our hearts. id love to hear your story if you [and your animals!] decide to send a few postcards!
